Diese Handlungen werden nicht selten als Aufgabe im Dienst an einer Gemeinschaft legitimiert. Auch wenn solche Gewalt als ein modernes Ph\u00e4nomen erscheinen mag, ist sie tats\u00e4chlich Teil einer sehr viel \u00e4lteren Geschichte. Bereits in der Sp\u00e4tantike f\u00fchrten die politischen und religi\u00f6sen Konflikte, die das R\u00f6mische Reich pr\u00e4gten, zu zahlreichen Angriffen auf unterschiedliche Arten von Statuen, so zum Beispiel auf solche von G\u00f6ttern und Kaisern. Dieser Vortrag untersucht die wichtigsten Ursachen dieser Zerst\u00f6rungsakte und stellt eine Reihe von Fallstudien aus dem Gebiet des heutigen Algeriens vor.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Einlass ist ab 18.30 Uhr bis maximal zum Veranstaltungsbeginn. Die Zahl der Sitzpl\u00e4tze ist begrenzt. Der Zugang zum Haus ist nicht barrierefrei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Veranstaltungen werden mit Foto und Video dokumentiert.
